Horse Boarding
Full and Partial Care Options Available
Starting at $150 per month, per stall
All horses fed and watered twice a day, turnout where applicable, and weather permitting
Amenities such as hay, grain, bedding, and cleaning can be added onto $150 base fee

Our Story
A Family Tradition of Agriculture & Fun
Set on 25 spacious acres in Liberty Township in Butler County, Fox Chapel Stables is owned and operated by Nancy and Doug Shackleford. With over 50 years in the horse industry, they live on the premises and have experience in boarding, breeding, raising, training, instruction, judging, and showing multiple disciplines and breeds. Their experience was built on sharing their love of horses, whether through boarding, 4-H advisory, or showing on a local, state and national level.

Today, they specialize in senior equine care and in creating a safe, fun environment for their boarders. Their hope is to provide a sanctuary for both the horse and the boarder by creating a peaceful, stress-free environment.
